Twitch alerts are pop up notifications that appear during a stream. These alerts are triggered by a specific action or event. For example, when someone follows, donates or subscribes to a stream, an alert will be shown.
These alerts are so popular because it allows the person who supported the stream to see their username on screen.  This can really help build communities by engaging viewers and supporters.
The alerts are usually setup in other software such as Streamlabs that can listen to events and then respond with certain actions. This means that in order to utilize alerts you will have to find a suitable streaming software to use.

How To Setup Twitch Alerts ?

Setting up your stream alerts no longer has to be a complicated issue thanks to modern streaming software such as Streamlabs. There are alternative ways to show alerts on stream, it just depends on which service you personally like.
With Streamlabs you simply need to go to your "Alert Box" on the dashboard, and select whichever alert you want to modify. From here you can upload the animation or gif file you want to show whenever the alert is triggered. There are also a lot of different customization options that you can use to personalize the alerts. On top of that if you know how to code in HTML, CSS or JS then you can use custom code to have full control of the alerts.
The final step to showing the alerts on stream is adding a browser source to your streaming software. This can be done in either OBS or Streamlabs OBS. With OBS you need to make sure to have the link to your alert box widget inserted into the browser source in order for them to show correctly. Streamlabs OBS does this automatically for you.
The Twitch alerts that we have available in our store, come with quick setup links to make the installation as easy as possible. This means you won't have to mess around with different settings or upload any files. You simply import them into your desired widget theme and they will work out of the box.
